Oliver Samuels Returning to Stage with Brand New Play ‘Lucky Money’

‘King of Jamaican Comedy’ Oliver Samuels is returning to the stage with the opening of his brand new play called ‘Lucky Money’ which is being described as a production that promises laughter, drama, and cultural flair.

Samuels will take the stage alongside Jamaican actors Karen Harriott and Tesfa Edwards and is directed by Pablo Hoilett.

“We’re absolutely thrilled and excited to be performing in Jamaica again,” Samuels said, according to the Jamaica Observer. “There’s a certain joy that comes from performing in front of your people in the place you were born and raised. Not to mention the type of laughs that come with it; Jamaicans have the best laughs in the world,” he continued.

Lucky Money makes it’s official premier on January 1st, 2025 and runs through February 16th, 2025 at Little Theatre.
